A small studio with strong opinions about software.

Favorite Dude LLC is an independent software studio based in Arizona, formed in 2022. We design and build apps for iOS and Android, along with web applications that run in any browser.

What we believe

Great software comes from deliberate scope. Most apps try to do too much; the ones people love do a few things exceptionally well. We start small, sweat the details, and only add what earns its place.

We also believe software should respect the people using it. That means no attention-farming, no dark patterns, and no quietly harvesting data. If an app of ours needs your information to work — or shows ads to keep it free — we'll say so plainly and collect the minimum.

Some of what we're building is for kids. Those apps are designed around learning, memory, and healthy brain activity — not mindless gaming — and they follow COPPA, the U.S. law that protects children's privacy online.

Where we are today

We're currently heads-down building our first releases. It's early, and we're taking the time to get them right rather than rushing something out the door. You can see a preview of what's in progress on ourapps page.
